Lovely Small Antique Oil on Board Seascape with Sailboat characters I think better to place

I think better to place these on a pedestal though

with overall surface wear and and some fading of the white lotus pattern such that it shows a soft pale blue

with a terrific yellow painted handle strung with a loop for hanging

the handle and base of the cup feature what looks like gold leaf suspended in the glass

including for the fact that the black painted letters are raised in slight relief

Soft blues and quite serene, but I love how the little boater with his paddles extended looks a bit as if spreading his arms to the sky either calling for help or in wonder at the beauty all around him! 6 7 8" x 4 7 8".
