Peace following the Treaty of Amiens signed on 27 March 1802
The construction of Tower Bridge was begun in 1881 to designs by Sir Horace Jones and it opened in 1894
1926 MG Size:S: 50 x 40cm North front of Princess's Theatre1926 MG. The early MG cars designed by the company's founder, Cecil Kimber, were based on the successful Morris Cowley 'Bullnose', Kimber having previously worked for Morris Garages. The similarity to the 'Bullnose' is clearly visible. MG cars enjoyed considerable racing success in the 1930s.
