Het nummer dat geschreven werd door toetsenist Ernst Jansz behaalde een nummer 1 positie in de Top 40. Naast de keyboards nam Ernst ook het merendeel van de vocalen voor zijn rekening. De band was inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een supergroep en koos als B kant voor het instrumentale nummer Skunk, geschreven door Henny Vrienten. 3tr 7 includes the #1 Dutch Top 40 hit De Bom plus Skunk
